Starting with Hyprland v0.55 (or today in git), configs will be specified using lua instead of hyprlang. While hyprlang will be supported for 1-2 more releases, support for hyprland will be removed and thus break any setup that has not moved configs to lua. More information can be found on the Hyprland wiki.
Not sure if creating one issue is the best approach, but we might want to coordinate PRs that go through and migrate certain aspects of config specification and management to lua.
