MeshCore DeskOS D1L 1.2.0 RC2
DeskOS 1.2/RC2 is the public D1L release focused on the working daily-use paths.
What changed:
- Selecting
#Publicnow opens the Public conversation immediately. - Contacts now support search, Recent/A-Z/Role/Signal sorting, direct messages, and managed-node actions.
- The README and roadmap now reflect 1.2/RC2, with actual-device screenshots including a fully loaded 9/9 local-tile Map.
Choose one ESP32-S3 path:
UPDATE-existing-deskos-at-0x20000.binpreserves an existing DeskOS installation.FRESH-CLEAN-full-8mb-at-0x0.binis the clean first-install/recovery image for a device with no prior DeskOS.
The RP2040 UPDATE-OR-FRESH.uf2 is the same complete bridge firmware for either path. The ZIP contains the complete package, scripts, docs, notices, provenance, and checksums. Start with START_HERE-1.2.0.md.

MeshCore DeskOS D1L 1.0.1
Stable DeskOS 1.0.1 for SenseCAP Indicator D1L. Download the ZIP and choose UPDATE EXISTING DESKOS or FRESH CLEAN INSTALL in START_HERE-1.0.1.md. The update BIN writes the DeskOS application at 0x20000 and preserves existing DeskOS data. The full-clean 8 MB BIN writes at 0x0 for blank devices, devices running other firmware, or an intentional clean start. The same complete RP2040 UF2 is used for either path.

Mesh use does not require project Wi-Fi credentials, an admin password, or a project-operated peer.
