NeonPocketMC Heltec V4 v1.0.0-rc.1

Experimental BLE companion firmware for the standard Heltec WiFi LoRa 32 V4/V4.3 with integrated 128x64 SSD1306 OLED and SX1262/FEM radio path.

Install

  • Normal update: flash NeonPocketMC-Heltec-V4-BLE-app.bin at 0x10000.
  • Recovery only: flash NeonPocketMC-Heltec-V4-BLE-recovery-preserves-settings.bin at 0x0.
  • Do not erase the whole flash for a normal update.
  • Do not flash this image on V3, RCC6, RC52, Wireless Tracker, or another V4 display/radio variant.

The recovery image stops before the SPIFFS data partition, preserving MeshCore identity, contacts, channels, and preferences. It resets NVS-backed state such as BLE bonds.

  • Physical unit: Heltec V4/V4.3, ESP32-S3, integrated OLED, SX1262/FEM path
  • Application-only diagnostic capture left the SPIFFS identity partition untouched
  • Live OLED splash and Home/Nearby/Radio/Bluetooth/Advert/Power frames are committed under docs/images
  • Exact-source GitHub Actions build and unit-test receipts are required for this release

This is community prerelease firmware, not an official Heltec or MeshCore release. Attach a suitable antenna before transmitting.
