Source-only alpha

This is the first public source-only prerelease of ADNovelFactory, built from commit e6b02b89ba708912ff9d03767a055d8957a1d9ec.

No signed macOS application, CI artifact, checksum, or other binary asset is attached. GitHub-generated source archives are the only download material for this release.

Source-build support

  • macOS 14 or later
  • arm64 and x86_64 source builds are verified by CI
  • The optional local MLX provider requires Apple Silicon. On Intel Macs, configure a supported remote provider instead.

Build and verify

swift build -c debug
python3 tests/run_local_regression.py
./build.sh debug

Read README.md, README.zh-CN.md, and docs/RELEASING.md before use. Generated text still needs human editorial review, and users remain responsible for provider credentials, model licenses, cost limits, and their own project data.

Known release limits

A normal end-user macOS download is intentionally not published yet. It requires Developer ID signing, notarization, artifact architecture verification, SBOM, provenance, and checksum evidence.
