v0.28.0

Choose a tag to compare

@namekun namekun released this 11 Oct 01:54

Update with brew update && brew upgrade --cask nunsseop.

  • Intel Macs, for real. Every download until now was built for Apple silicon only. 0.28.0 is a universal app, and the tests now run on Intel too.
  • Both sides, sized to fit. On a display without a notch, each side of the idle values grows the pill by its own value only, and the eyebrow stays over the camera. A new day resizes it for a wider date.
  • An outage isn't a sign-out. A server error from Anthropic no longer shows Claude's live limits as signed out; the last values stay and it tries again later.
  • Plan and model bars stay. When the Claude Code status line has the newest limits, the plan badge and per-model weekly bars are kept instead of disappearing.
  • Status line state. If the status line's script file goes missing, Settings shows it as not connected, and Connect puts it back with your original status line.
  • Background notices. Clicking a notice from a claude --bg session no longer brings forward an unrelated terminal. Connected hooks are updated at launch.
  • After midnight. The calendar moves to the new day (and your selection with it, if it was on today), and the Pomodoro "Completed today" count starts over.
  • Fixes. Lyrics follow live streams and files with Windows line endings; Codex limits no longer vanish on a long log; network speeds no longer spike or crash on a counter wrap; the calculator keeps the decimal comma when copying; an event spanning several days marks each of its days; the shelf and tab order no longer duplicate entries; an old city's weather no longer shows after you change the city; notes are saved when you quit; Chrome Canary calls are told apart from Chrome; the weather chip always fits the header.
  • Site. The Copy button says when copying failed and selects the command instead.

v0.27.0

@namekun namekun released this 10 Oct 14:54

Update with brew update && brew upgrade --cask nunsseop.

  • Background sessions count. Claude Code sessions started with claude --bg now show in the closed-notch agents count. Before, they were left out whenever Claude Code's background service had first been started in a herdr pane. If you're connected in Settings › Alerts, the updated hook is put in at launch.
  • One side, sized to fit. On a display without a notch, turning on only one side of the idle values grows the pill just enough for that value, right beside the eyebrow, with the same room at both ends.

v0.26.0

@namekun namekun released this 10 Oct 12:36

Update with brew update && brew upgrade --cask nunsseop.

  • Agents at work, in any terminal. The closed-notch agents count now includes Claude Code sessions in Muxy or any terminal, not only herdr: a green bolt while one works, a yellow hand when it asks for permission or input, or when it finished while its app was in the back (bring that app forward and the hand goes). It uses the Claude Code connection in Settings › Alerts; if you're connected, the new hooks are added at launch. Only the session id and the event name are sent, to this Mac.
  • Known limits: after you approve a permission the hand stays until that turn ends; a session cut short with Esc or killed drops out 20 minutes after its last event; Codex isn't counted yet, since it only reports finished turns.

v0.25.1

@namekun namekun released this 10 Oct 12:06

Update with brew update && brew upgrade --cask nunsseop.

  • The update command works right after a release. Homebrew skips refreshing its taps when it did so recently, so brew upgrade alone could say the latest version was already installed. Settings now copies brew update && brew upgrade --cask nunsseop, and the site and README say the same.
  • The README is up to date in all seven languages with 0.23–0.25.

@namekun namekun released this 10 Oct 11:42

Update with brew upgrade --cask nunsseop.

  • Claude limits straight from Claude Code. In Settings › Services › AI usage, connect Claude Code's status line. Claude Code hands it your 5-hour and weekly limits with every answer, so the AI tab stays current while you work, without Nunsseop asking Anthropic for anything. The status line you already had keeps showing exactly as before, and disconnecting puts it back.
  • The live check with Anthropic (off until you turn it on) stays available for when you use Claude elsewhere, and the most recent source wins.

v0.24.0

@namekun namekun released this 10 Oct 10:46

Update with brew upgrade --cask nunsseop.

  • One line on screens without a notch. Volume, brightness, keyboard backlight and battery show their symbol right beside the level bar or percent, instead of two halves with a gap in the middle.
  • Lyrics and the sneak peek sit on the same line as the artwork and visualizer. The line is sized to the song's longest lyric (or its title and artist) once per song, so it doesn't jump with every line, up to a third of the screen; longer lines shrink slightly, then truncate. Idle values step aside while it shows.
  • A new homepage. A lighter look with the real notch opening in the first screen; point at the eyebrow and it opens the way the app does. On phones it shows the open notch. A "Trouble opening it?" link goes straight to the answer.

v0.23.0

@namekun namekun released this 10 Oct 08:07

Install or update with Homebrew:

brew install --cask namekun/tap/nunsseop # first time
brew upgrade --cask nunsseop # update
  • Homebrew only. The dmg is no longer offered as a way to install, since the app isn't notarized. When an update is out, Settings › General › Updates copies the brew command for you (or, without Homebrew, points you to brew.sh). An app installed from the dmg moves over to Homebrew with the copied command.
  • A new eyebrow. On screens without a notch the collapsed notch is one white brush stroke that lifts when you point at it, and lowers like a closing eye before it fades out. The app icon uses the same stroke.
  • Notices on screens without a notch are one line, with the whole text, instead of two rows with a gap.
  • Tab badges no longer get cut off at the end of the tab row; ten or more shows 9+.
  • AI usage: placeholders show only while Anthropic is being asked, so a failed request no longer leaves them pulsing; it retries after ten minutes, and signing in again clears the warning at once.
  • The README is now in all seven app languages, and the site and README screenshots no longer show the old purple demo cover.

v0.22.0

@namekun namekun released this 10 Oct 07:17
  • The AI usage tab shows Claude's per-model weekly limits (for example "Weekly · Fable") next to the all-models weekly limit, and the plan (such as MAX) beside the Claude name. While the limits and token totals load, pulsing placeholders hold their places, and an expired Claude Code sign-in now says so. Thanks to @jaesungchris.
  • Closed notch: the artwork, the HUD symbols and the idle values (battery, weather, date, limits) keep the same distance from the notch's side walls as from its top and bottom. Thanks to @jaesungchris.
  • The homepage no longer scrolls sideways on mobile.

v0.21.0

@namekun namekun released this 08 Oct 12:28
  • Download progress in the closed notch: while Safari or Chrome downloads into ~/Downloads, the closed notch shows a blue arrow and how far along it is in percent, in the timer's place (a running timer still comes first). It follows the same progress the Finder draws on the file's icon, so nothing polls. Turn it off in Settings › Collapsed notch › Progress while a download runs.
  • Website: the demo notch opens on the first tap on phones and moves on the app's own springs, buttons respond the moment they're pressed, Korean text wraps between words, the tour waits while you read it, and Reduce Motion gets gentle cross-fades instead of hard cuts.

v0.20.5

Choose a tag to compare

@namekun namekun released this 08 Oct 11:23
  • Fully opaque notch: Glass tint and Eyebrow glass tint (Settings › Notch › Size) now go up to 100%. At 100% the expanded notch, and the eyebrow on displays without a notch, are solid black, while cards and fields keep their glass. Before, the only way to get solid black was turning Liquid Glass off everywhere.
