ExploreSwiftUI version 1.0.1 introduces support for modern iOS 27+ / WWDC26 APIs, improves platform compatibility across Apple operating systems, fixes Result Builder compilation issues on older Swift compiler toolchains, and adds extensive API documentation.

What's New in v1.0.1 🚀

1. iOS 27+ / WWDC26 Compatibility & Bridges

  • Reordering Bridges (UniReorderings.swift): Added a unified interface for the new iOS 27+ drag-and-drop reordering APIs, with uniReorderable() / uniReorderable(collectionID:) and 4 overloads of .uniReorderContainer(...) (falls back to traditional .onMove(...) on older systems).
  • Swipe Actions Container: Leveraged the new native swipeActionsContainer() API on compatible platforms to enforce single active swipe states.
  • AsyncImage request overloads: Added support for passing URLRequest and custom URLSession instances natively on iOS 27+, with automated fallback loaders.
  • Slider Ticks: Bridged the new native Slider tick marks API using .uniSliderTicks(...) with custom layout polyfills.

2. Platform Compatibility & Compiler Fixes

  • Disclosure & Outline Groups: Added strict #if os(iOS) || os(macOS) || os(visionOS) compile-time guards around UniDisclosureGroup and UniOutlineGroup to prevent compilation errors on watchOS and tvOS where native components do not exist.
  • Result Builder Ambiguity Fixes: Converted closure declarations to explicit trailing closures in UniGroupBox and UniControlGroup to prevent ambiguity in Swift's overload resolution.
  • Tab Selection Erasure: Conformed internal tab types to TabContent directly (iOS 18+) and wrapped them in AnyTabContent type erasure for cleaner chainable modifier structures.

3. Documentation & Verification

  • DESIGN.md Added: A comprehensive developer/AI agent design reference guide summarizing 32 Components, 26 modifier categories, and token mapping rules.
  • Updated README: Added examples and code snippets for new iOS 27 features, Glassmorphism, Gauges, Reordering, and Sliders.
  • Smoke Testing Suite: Added compiled smoke tests for alerts, async images, product views, and reorderings (ReorderingsSmokeTests.swift).
