Saccade MCP 0.2.3 — experimental observation
Saccade MCP 0.2.3
This release adds experimental screenshot, video-frame and short 3D observation
to the Node.js Broker and MCP adapter. Use Extension 0.4.16 for these features;
its Chrome Web Store update has been submitted for review and is not yet verified
as publicly available.
- One observation approval covers the Agent's authorized tabs for its live MCP
session, including new pages and refreshes. Other Agents and unshared tabs are
excluded; Stop sharing revokes a tab. - Video observation returns timestamped samples and loaded captions, not a
complete viewing or audio transcription. Sampling may pause or seek playback. - Supported scene bridges provide application-reported motion state alongside
stills or short frame sequences. Arbitrary WebGL remains opaque. - Connection, post-confirmation document validation and CLI version reporting
have been updated.
Video and 3D observation are experimental. Comparative visual-accuracy evaluation
and some same-candidate dual-browser lifecycle reruns remain incomplete. The
owner approved this release exception; missing checks are not marked passed.
No accuracy, speed-superiority or token-saving claim is made. Low-level WebGL
rendering diagnostics remain a separate prototype.
The local MCP package suite passed 192 tests. The publication workflow reruns
the package tests and publishes with npm provenance. This tag contains the MCP
source update; it is not a source tag for the separately submitted extension.
Run npx -y @nanlogic/saccade@0.2.3 mcp in your MCP client configuration.
Existing sessions must reconnect to load the updated adapter.
