Wineland fixes
- Fixed a cryptographic initialization crash in Aniimo.

Changes since wineland-11.0-20260910.
HUD improvements
- Fixed a D3D12 presentation-timing bug that could cause freezes with
PROTON_HUD=4or5. - Added
hideto start with the HUD hidden: e.g.PROTON_HUD=3,hide %command%. Press Ctrl+Shift+O to show it. - HUD presets 2–4 now display the graphics API, such as D3D11 or D3D12, beside the driver information.
Wineland fixes
- Shaped windows and launchers: Reduced presentation overhead by reusing clipping calculations and buffer imports.

wineland-11.0-20260910
IMPORTANT: It was found that there is a bug with latency readings in PROTON_HUD=4 and 5 levels (or if you explicitly enable present latency readings) that can cause stutters or even freezes in DX12 games. Fix is underway and a hotfix will be delivered soon. In the meanwhile, you can use PROTON_HUD=3.
Proton Wineland 11.0 (20260910)
Changes since wineland-11.0-20260908.
HUD improvements
- Ctrl+Shift+O hides or shows the HUD without restarting the game. Game still has to be started with HUD enabled, though.
- GPU junction temperature: added gpu.jtemp, displayed as GPU jtemp. Included in PROTON_HUD levels 2–5 when a supported sensor is available, such as AMD’s hotspot sensor. The row is hidden when unavailable (e.g. NVIDIA). Use -gpu.jtemp to exclude it.
- D3D12 HUD placement: fixed displaced centred rows and off-screen bottom rows when the game’s backbuffer and presentation resolutions differ.
Wineland fixes
- Fixed HDR colours in Steam Overlay and MangoHud.
- HDR detection now works in more setups, including when desktop SDR brightness is set very high or the monitor’s HDR information was previously missed.
- Virtual desktops: fullscreen games retain the configured virtual-desktop resolution instead of adopting the physical monitor’s dimensions.
- Initially minimised windows are now kept under Wayland instead of disappearing (DOOM Eternal).
- X11 window creation fixed.
- Mirror’s Edge: fixed a startup deadlock that could disappear when logging was enabled.
- Not For Broadcast Prologue: fixed a startup freeze.
