We cannot completely remove PETSc dependencies because we still use METIS from PETSc. |

Hi Einar, I think it should be possible to use METIS installed from GMSH. This could avoid keeping PETSc only because of METIS. |

Hi Abdoulaye, It turns out that we already use METIS from GMSH, not PETSc like I thought. So I was wrong and after this merge we have no dependence on PETSc anymore. |

Remove the implicit solver and all connections with PETSc.
