What's fixed

• Restores Twitch chat rendering for Streamer.bot 1.0.7 by accepting the current Twitch.ChatMessage websocket payload shape. The overlay now reads current fields like messageId, text, user, meta, emotes, and user badges directly from the event data, while still keeping support for the older nested data.message shape used by older Streamer.bot versions.
• Adds a Legacy bubble message background option. When enabled, chat bubbles use the original grey message body with the colored username/header area.

• Checked generator JavaScript syntax with node --check.
• Checked the inline chat.html script syntax.
• Ran a smoke test against both old and new Twitch ChatMessage payload shapes.

• Bot filtering is more forgiving now: comma-separated entries are trimmed, leading @ signs are ignored, Unicode names are normalized, and Streamer.bot-provided display names/usernames/channel IDs are checked where available.
• Chat Bubble Color now colors the whole bubble, including the message body, instead of only the username/header area.

stream-chat-rebooted v0.4.0: The Rebirth Release

stream-chat-rebooted is here

This release marks the rebirth of Izzy's original stream-chat project under its new maintained name: stream-chat-rebooted.

Full credit for the original overlay and foundation still goes to Izzy and the original project at https://github.com/izzy/stream-chat. This continuation keeps that work alive with new platform support, a refreshed generator, and active maintenance going forward.
