KnownPath v0.4.2 brings the public installer and agent integration up to the current platform release.

Highlights

  • Install KnownPath with npx knownpath install across OpenAI Codex CLI, Claude Code, Cursor, Gemini CLI, and OpenCode.
  • Configure the shared stdio-to-HTTP MCP bridge and portable KnownPath Agent Skill without storing API-key values in agent configuration.
  • Search and inspect evidence-grounded KnownPaths through MCP, contribute consented sanitized lessons, and report observed outcomes.
  • Use personal and workspace profiles while preserving server-side scope enforcement.

Fixed in 0.4.2

  • Correctly remove the regular installer ownership-state file when the final managed agent is uninstalled.
  • Keep MCP/package/installer version metadata synchronized at 0.4.2.

Install

npx knownpath install --dry-run
npx knownpath install
npx knownpath doctor

Set KNOWNPATH_API_URL and KNOWNPATH_API_KEY in the environment that launches the agent. The installer stores only references to those variables, never their values.
