Download it

• Beneath this text box you should see a section labeled "Assets". If it is collapsed, click on it.
• Then, you should see a file called "win64-beats-v0.1.3.zip". Click on it to download it, then extract it.

Run it

• You can't run this program by double clicking the executable! The program requires command line arguments, and will print a usage message and exit if you don't give it any.
• Instead, run the program by opening up PowerShell, then typing .\beats.exe. Make sure your current working directory is where this file lives. You can change the current working directory with cd <path to where you want to go>.
• For example, if you downloaded this release and extracted it to your Downloads folder, you would open up PowerShell and type cd ~\Downloads\win64-beats-v0.1.3, then .\beats.exe.
• Type arguments after the command, for example .\beats.exe -a 8 foo.chart.

Notes

• It's possible Windows Defender will scan the executable the first time you run it. This shouldn't cause any issues, and takes a couple seconds. After the first time, it won't do this again.
• This release doesn't come with any charts. For how to get some, read README.md. This file is not part of the release; go to the repository's main page and you can read it at the bottom.
