한국어

  • 원본 음성과 다른 언어의 자동 생성 자막(예: 영어 음성 영상의 한국어 자동 자막)을 유튜브가 막아 못 받아올 때, 예전엔 자막 없이 조용히 재생됐다 — 이제 그 이유를 토스트로 알려준다. 이건 유튜브 쪽에서 그런 번역 자막 요청을 막는 것이라 앱에서 완전히 고칠 수는 없지만, 짧은 재시도를 한 번 더 해보고 그래도 안 되면 알려준다.

  • When YouTube blocks an auto-generated caption in a language different from the video's spoken audio (e.g. a Korean auto-caption on an English-language video), the app used to silently play without it. It now shows a toast explaining why. This is a YouTube-side restriction on translated-caption requests we can't fully work around, but the app retries once briefly and tells you if it still fails.

  • The codec preference order (AV1 > VP9 > H.264) now checks whether the device can actually play that codec. Fixed AV1 being picked as the top choice and failing to play on devices without an AV1 decoder (e.g. ProMa/P10) — this device (LumePad2) plays AV1 fine, so it still prefers AV1 as before.

  • 실시간/다시보기 방송 중 일부(HLS 안에서 영상·오디오가 나뉘어 오는 경우)에서 오디오가 아예 안 나오고 화질 이름도 잘못 표시되던 문제를 고쳤다.
  • 위 "원본 언어만 재생" 처리가 놓치던 경우도 고쳤다 — 유튜브가 자동 더빙을 원본보다 먼저 나열하는 영상에서는 더빙이 먼저 골라졌었다.

  • Audio now always plays the original language track only — dubbed tracks (including YouTube's own AI auto-dub) are no longer listed. Defaulting to the device language previously risked landing on YouTube's auto-dub instead of the real original.

  • 유튜브의 자막(실제 업로드 우선, 없으면 자동 생성)을 내려받아 바로 재생에 건다. 언어는 기기 언어와 영어로만 한정했다.
  • 화질과 자막 언어 모두 한 번 고르면 다음부터 그 선택이 목록 맨 위에 "(기본값)"으로 표시된다.

  • Choose a resolution before playback. Modern YouTube splits video and audio into separate tracks per resolution; the app now merges them automatically, offering every resolution up to 2160p.
  • Audio always uses the original language only (no dub list).
  • YouTube's own captions (real uploads preferred over auto-generated) are downloaded and loaded automatically. Language choices are limited to your device language and English.
  • Both the resolution and subtitle language you pick are remembered and shown at the top of the list as "(default)" next time.
  • Added a "Load subtitles" checkbox to the URL entry dialog.

Verified on real hardware against a live NASA broadcast and a regular VOD (multiple resolutions, English captions).
