D2Coding 1.3.5 stops mapping the control characters to visible glyphs and makes the coding ligatures apply on lines of Korean. No outline, width or hinting changed.
Please uninstall any previously installed version before installing.
What changed
- The control characters U+0001 to U+001F, except the carriage return U+000D, are no longer mapped. They pointed at DOS style control pictures, and some applications drew them: Keynote showed the line feed as a boxed circle at the end of each paragraph (#93). Tab is no longer mapped either; the space keeps its glyph.
- The coding ligatures are registered under
ligaas well ascalt, with the same lookups (#73). Text engines that shape a line of Korean as one Hangul run switchcaltoff, so a line such as<!-- 주석 -->lost its ligatures. To turn the ligatures off now, switch off bothcaltandliga. In VS Code,"editor.fontLigatures": falsealready does both.
