Bug-fix release. Still ad-hoc signed, not notarized by Apple, see the README for the one-time right-click-Open step (or xattr -cr).

Fixed:

  • The bend no longer shows a small centered box or a recursive "hall of mirrors" effect; it fills the full screen correctly.
  • Corrected the tilt direction: the far edge of the screen now recedes away as the lid closes, instead of appearing to grow closer.
  • The area the tilted screen recedes into is now a solid black backdrop instead of revealing the raw desktop underneath.

Install:

  1. Download Bendd-0.2.0.dmg below.
  2. Drag Bendd to Applications.
  3. Right-click Bendd in Applications and choose Open (not double-click), then confirm. Only needed the first time.
  4. Grant Screen Recording access when prompted.

If it still refuses to open: xattr -cr /Applications/Bendd.app in Terminal.
