OpenCalendar is now agent-bookable.
- Public, keyless MCP server at
/api/mcp/public:list_event_types,find_available_times,book_meeting. Any AI agent can check your real availability and book you. - Opt-in per event type ("AI agents can book this", off by default). Secret types are never exposed.
- Same claim path as a human booking: host advisory lock + live calendar re-check, same confirmation email and calendar invite.
- Paid meetings stay human: the agent gets a checkout link with the slot preselected (new
timeURL param); nothing is booked until someone pays. - Abuse limits: per-IP request and booking rate limits, one upcoming agent booking per email per event type.
- Discovery:
/llms.txtand/.well-known/mcp.json, generated from your opted-in types; booking pages link to/llms.txt. - Agent bookings are tagged
ref=agentand show as "via AI agent" in admin and in your new-booking email. - Deploy with Vercel button; migrations run on Vercel production builds.
Upgrading: run npm run db:deploy (adds MeetingType.agentBookable), then turn the switch on for the event types agents may book.
