Welcome to LibreChat v1.0.0, an all-in-one, zero-dependency edition of LibreChat built for Windows and Android with deep DevPass and LLM Gateway integration.

🌟 What Makes This Edition Different from Standard LibreChat?

Standard LibreChat is designed for web/server deployments and requires Docker, Docker Compose, external MongoDB, Redis, reverse proxies, and user account registration with login screens.

This standalone edition transforms LibreChat into a plug-and-play desktop and mobile app:

  1. Zero Configuration: No Docker, terminal commands, or database setup needed. Everything runs out-of-the-box.
  2. Windows Desktop (Electron):
    • Embedded MongoDB Engine: Automatically provisions and manages a persistent database at %APPDATA%\LibreChat\database.
    • Local User Mode: Automatically authenticates as a local ADMIN user (user@librechat.local) with no registration or /login redirection walls.
    • Auto-Updater: Integrates directly with GitHub Releases to deliver seamless background updates.
    • Local Wi-Fi Bridge: Pairs effortlessly with mobile devices on the same local network.
  3. Android Standalone App (APK):
    • 100% On-Device Standalone Server: Runs an internal lightweight NanoHTTPD server and native SQLite persistence directly inside the APK. No PC server required to use the app.
    • Dual Connectivity: Use On-Device mode for full portability or switch to Remote PC mode to connect to your desktop instance over Wi-Fi.
    • Mobile UX Optimizations: Removed pull-to-refresh jitter, eliminated empty banners, 1:1 true device pixel ratio scaling, and zero-latency slide-out drawer navigation.
    • Dedicated Security: Signed with a unique, dedicated 2048-bit RSA key (my-release-key.jks) valid for 10,000 days.

  • Non-Chat Model Filtering: Embeddings, rerankers, image generation, and video generation models are excluded from DevPass per provider specifications, ensuring only supported chat/coding models are shown.
  • Protocol Attribution & User-Agent Spoofing: Injects mandatory header x-source: opencode and spoofs User-Agent as opencode/1.18.30 (matching the upstream OpenCode specification).

🚀 Quick Start
