Clicker Genesis v0.3.1 — Windows desktop build

Bug-fix patch from real Play testing on v0.3.0, plus one large content addition.

Fixes

  • XP bar text no longer washes out where the shine sweeps across it (stronger outline).
  • Button hover feedback fixed everywhere. Root cause: most buttons used a multiplicative color tint that was already maxed out (a no-op) on buttons with a plain white tint - only two buttons ever had visible headroom for it. Replaced with a scale-based hover effect applied to every button in the game.
  • Managers tab: locked-row text ("Unlock X first") no longer overflows its button; Auto-Buy/Reserve/title controls hidden on this tab (Scribes-only concept), leaving just the Grace readout.
  • Skill Tree: Prestige/Reset button explanations moved into the same fixed, readable description box the skill nodes use (was an oversized floating tooltip that didn't fit); backdrop changed from the stone texture to a plain dark background so the tree's colors and lines read clearly; the description box and Grace counter now have distinct bordered panels instead of looking identical; the Back button's redundant tooltip was removed; a lingering visual bug where the Book Progression ring's first connector line overlapped the Ink Flow spoke is fixed; prestiging now shows a persistent "you've prestiged before" badge instead of a one-shot message that never went away.
  • Stats screen is now scrollable, with content clipped above the Back button instead of overflowing behind it.

New: real Genesis scribe/manager roster + submanagers

Genesis' scribe lineup expanded from 8 to its full 19-tier cast (Reed Pen through Silver Cup), each manager now gated on their character's real first-mention verse instead of a placeholder threshold. Managers can also hire submanagers - minor characters (Seth, Methuselah, Hagar, Melchizedek, and 15 others) who grant either a scribe-cost discount or a boost to their manager's output bonus, each with their own real verse gate.

Known issues

  • Bug #32 (Resolution "Change" button needing ~2-3 clicks) is still open - needs a real-device retest.

How to run

Unzip and run ClickerGenesis.exe. Windows x64, no installer needed.
