First release under the new Alpha/Beta versioning convention — everything before v0.4.1 is retroactively Alpha, v0.4.1 onward is Beta.

Highlights

  • Grace Skill Tree V2 — a redesigned fog-of-war constellation UI replacing the old always-visible radial tree. Nodes and their connector lines stay fully hidden until a prerequisite is owned. Wired to the real Grace economy (not a sandbox), with a central Convergence node gating a Book Progression gateway into per-book Mastery sub-trees. All 146 nodes shipped with real Old Testament content across the 8 economy branches and all 39 canonical books.
  • Settings orientation toggle — cycles Auto/Portrait/Landscape, hidden on desktop where the OS already owns window rotation. Completes the mobile-responsiveness work started in 0.4.0.
  • Android joins Windows and macOS as a release platform for the first time.

Also included (from 0.4.0, first cut release since v0.3.3)

  • Full Achievement system — 655 real achievements generated from the game's own live Scribes/Managers data, browsable in a tabbed card-grid screen with bronze/silver/gold difficulty tiers and spoiler-safe hidden achievements.
  • First real mobile-device layout fixes after testing on a physical Android phone (CanvasScaler reference-resolution mismatch, list-row text overlap).

Known issues

See the Bug Tracker in the README for the full, transparent list. Notably: the Skill Tree's zoom/scale baseline on real mobile devices needs re-verification against this new V2 UI (the bug it was originally reported against, #58, was tracked on the now-deprecated old tree).

Install notes

  • Windows: unzip and run ClickerGenesis.exe.
  • macOS: unzip, then right-click ClickerGenesis.app → Open the first time (unsigned/unnotarized build — Gatekeeper blocks a plain double-click).
  • Android: download the .apk directly to your device and allow installs from this source (not distributed via Play Store).
