Standard Operating Procedure Methodology

The Bitcoin SOP repo is an I.T. shop styled SOP folder filled with Bitcoin how to guides. Its written in markdown so that styling and linking to other sources is easy

When referencing another file in this repo, please link to the file. For example, if I would like to point you back to the readme to learn something you need to know as the current guide assumes you understand that first. I would say "Please refer to [README.md](The Readme file) and continue this guide once you've finished"

Additionally, we want to avoid any "duplication of effort" problems. Please refrain from copying the entirety of someone else's guide and try linking to it instead. For an installation guide for another project for example, you might try linking to the exact webpage the guide for that product might be located. This is because as products update, the guide for how to install them might change. So pointing to the main repo for that installation, is better than creating your own and keeping up with it.

Still, sometimes product documentation is scattered, and a new SOP need to be created for the time being that details a short and sweet process for it. I will accept the pull request for that scenario, but I would then ask that your guide also be merged into the main products repo. If it is accepted, we can just point to it instead.
