Sometimes our support email autoreply would send you a message when the Sucuri plugin sent us a notification (especially if the WP Mail SMTP plugin is installed). This caused unnecessary confusion and, occasionally, downright panic. That's not fun, so we finally figured out how to put and end to that nonsense. 🎤⬇

Other improvements:

  • Individual URL cache purging now clears all device types properly, and also now clears comment pages (e.g., /comment-page-2/).

  • The Widget Block editor was showing our "Need Help?" tab in every Legacy Widget. We've implemented a workaround for this known issue.

  • We now disable automatic WordPress Core updates for major versions. (This is off by default, but some hosts enable it.) Minor security versions should still auto-update.

  • Small security enhancement (escaping the Sucuri API Response before displaying it).

  • Some other minor code and unused file cleanup.
