v1.4.1 (2026-08-16)
Full Changelog Previous Releases
- Stargorger also catchable on Coiled Isle pools with its lure
Community-reported: the Coiled Stargorger Lure works on normal isle
pools, not just in the Vaults of Atal'Utek. The fish now lists both
zones (isle becomes 8 fish / 800 max) and its note says so.

- Show next rank and points to go in fish tooltips
Cutoffs mapped from live warband data: a 27-fish monotonic baseline
proves universal thresholds; 75/80/95/100 are the only round numbers
fitting the observed bounds (community-claimed 70/90 are refuted by
71.3-as-Guppy and 89.4-as-Pike). Estimated cutoffs display with a ~
until gap catches confirm them.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 noreply@anthropic.com - Open /bbtest ranks in the copy window by default
Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 noreply@anthropic.com - Add /bbtest ranks: log per-fish (score, rank) pairs to map cutoffs
Community-claimed universal rank cutoffs (70/90/95/100) contradict
live data (83.1 Pike, 71.3 Guppy), suggesting per-species thresholds.
Observations accumulate in SavedVariables across sessions; each rank's
min-max score range brackets that species' true cutoffs.

- Soften Snakehead note: a lure helps, it's just not required
Andrew's own fishing confirms better rates with the lure; only the
hard requirement claim was false.

v1.3.3

v1.3.3 (2026-08-16)
Full Changelog Previous Releases
- Correct the Ula'tek Snakehead's phantom lure requirement
Blizzard's description claims the fish needs a lure around The Coiled
Isle (and calls the vaults "Temple of Ula'tek" — a third name for the
same place). Community-verified false: it bites lureless in isle pools
and open water. Its bogus rate lines are now hidden and replaced with
a corrective note.

v1.3.2 (2026-08-16)
Full Changelog Previous Releases
- Align improvement-table stats into fixed columns
Score, percent, and points-left are now three right-anchored font
strings instead of one right-justified string, so the columns stay
put across rows with different digit counts.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 noreply@anthropic.com - Home the Ula'tek Snakehead on The Coiled Isle only
It's an ordinary isle pool/open-water fish (Andrew's call); the vaults
inherit the isle loot table through the parent-map walk, so only the
lure-exclusive Stargorger should list the vaults as home. Vaults row
is now 100 max, Coiled Isle 700.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 noreply@anthropic.com - Note the Coiled Stargorger's lure requirement in its tooltip
The generic "any fish, open water or pools" disclaimer is wrong for
this fish: it never bites without the rep-locked Coiled Stargorger
Lure (verified in-game; Wowhead reports 4 lureless hours with zero
catches). Per-fish notes now replace the disclaimer line.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 noreply@anthropic.com - Correct garbled vault area names from Blizzard fish descriptions
Blizzard's 12.1 spell descriptions reference two nonexistent areas:
"Atal'Utek" and "Vaults of Ula'tek". Verified in-game: the real zone
is "Vaults of Atal'Utek" (Coiled Stargorger's home, fixes zone
detection there), and Ula'tek Snakehead is caught primarily on The
Coiled Isle itself (Wowhead: 155 isle catches vs 22 vault).

- v1.3.0: remove oddities from the UX entirely — this addon is about the score
Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 noreply@anthropic.com - v1.3.0 — hide unscored oddities from the fish list
Cursed Oddities no longer occupy rows; the zone footer notes them as
'+N oddities' so collection hunters still know they exist. Score-focused
list stays tight — this is BrinyBest, after all.

- v1.2.1 — only count fish that actually carry an Anglin' Score
Fish whose description has no 'Anglin' Score:' line (Cursed Oddities)
no longer inflate zone or global maximums; they display 'no score',
sort to the bottom, and get an explanatory tooltip. Global max in the
header is now computed from the data (fallback 2700 while loading).

- Tighten panel bottom padding under zone summary
Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 noreply@anthropic.com - v1.2.0 — all-zone improvement opportunities summary
New panel section listing every Midnight zone with total/max points, a
percentage colored against the 92.5% average needed to reach 2500 of the
2700 possible points, and points remaining — sorted so the biggest
opportunity is on top. Current zone highlighted; zones discovered
dynamically from fish area data.
