Getting Started

Welcome to NClaim! This page will guide you through the first steps of using the plugin on your Minecraft server.

What is NClaim?

NClaim is a modern chunk-claiming plugin that allows you to protect your builds, manage land, and collaborate with friends easily.

First Steps

1. Install the Plugin
   Follow the Installation page to add NClaim to your server.

2. Join Your Server
   Make sure you have the right permissions to use NClaim commands.

3. Claiming Your First Chunk

   • Type /nclaim in chat.
   • In the menu that opens, click the purchase button (usually represented by a specific icon) and confirm to claim the chunk.
   • Make sure to complete the confirmation step, otherwise the claim will not be processed.
   • Your structures and items in this chunk will now be protected. To protect additional chunks, repeat this process in each desired location.

Tip

Before claiming, you can right-click to preview the chunk boundaries, or use F3 + G to see chunk borders in-game. This helps ensure you are claiming the correct area.

4. Adding Friends

   • Right-click on your claim bedrock and select Manage Members from the menu that appears.
   • Click the nether star, then type your friend's name in the anvil interface to add them.
   • To manage their permissions, open the Manage Members menu again, click on your friend's head, and adjust their permissions as needed.

5. Managing Your Claim

   • Right-click on your claim bedrock and select Manage Settings from the menu that appears.
   • In the menu, you can toggle various settings for your claim. Simply click on each option to turn it on or off.
     The available settings include:
     • 🗡️ PvP: Enable or disable player-vs-player combat inside your claim.
     • 💣 TNT Damage: Allow or prevent TNT explosions from damaging blocks in your claim.
     • 💥 Creeper Damage: Allow or prevent creeper explosions from damaging blocks in your claim.
     • 🧟 Mob Combat: Control whether mobs can attack players inside your claim.
     • 👾 Monster Spawning: Allow or prevent monsters from spawning within your claim.
     • 🐄 Animal Spawning: Allow or prevent animals from spawning within your claim.
     • 🧑‍🌾 Villager Trading: Allow or restrict villager trading inside your claim.

Note

You can adjust these settings at any time to better protect your land and customize your gameplay experience!

Useful Tips

• The red wool in the Manage Lands menu indicates that the chunk has already been claimed by another player.
• To check your claim block value, you can use the /nclaim level command.

Warning

If you accidentally delete your claim, not even admins can restore it.

Managing Claim Time

• In the Manage Time menu, you can extend your claim's expiration date by adding more time.
• If you forget to extend your claim and the time runs out, your claim may be deleted permanently!

Warning

Always keep an eye on your claim time. If it expires, all your protected land and items could be lost without recovery!
