Summary

Fix Functions tab reference to Live tab in NPM quick-start. Files changed: docs/npm/device-metrics/quick-start.md.

User Request

I don't see "Functions" anywhere in the console

Prompt (English)

How to access the Processes function in Netdata Cloud UI to view top CPU and disk I/O consuming processes

Reason for Change

This change applies the specific user request using repository-truth evidence from the audit execution workspace.

Summary by cubic

Updates the NPM device-metrics quick-start to direct users to the Live tab (linked) and the exact path SNMP -> Interfaces in the Functions list, instead of a non-existent Functions tab. Clarifies where to run snmp:interfaces in Netdata Cloud.

Written for commit 8b28181. Summary will update on new commits.

@Ancairon - Netdata Functions are accessed from the Live tab, not a standalone Functions tab or panel, as documented in the Live tab reference page (the Functions bar sits on the right-hand side of that tab).

  • The corrected navigation label in the device-metrics quick-start guide accurately directs readers to the Live tab and links to the canonical reference page.
  • Both the edited page and the link target are published; the link resolves to the correct destination.
  • No remaining "Functions tab" references exist anywhere in the documentation corpus, so the correction is complete.
  • The processes function data-field OS-availability columns match the reference table verbatim (CPU and logical I/O available on all supported OSes; physical I/O reads and writes are Linux only).
  • The dashboard overview enumerates all main sections, including Netdata Charts listed between Nodes and Metrics.
  • No documentation edits are recommended; the content is accurate as-is.
