Highlights
The patch command is now started without a shell. The args of a patch definition are split into separate arguments and checked against a fixed list of supported patch options: -pN/--strip=N, -FN/--fuzz=N (the number may also be a separate word, as in -p 0), -l/--ignore-whitespace, -N/--forward, -t/--batch, -E/--remove-empty-files, --binary and -s/--silent/--quiet. A patch definition with any other args value now fails with an exception when it is loaded; this applies to definitions from the root composer.json, from installed packages and from patch lists fetched by URL. Update patch definitions that use other options before upgrading. See the README section "Patch properties".
