From node-jdbc to node-ibm_db
The major change in 4.0.0 is the move away from using the JDBC-based node-jdbc to the ODBC-based node-ibm_db. This means that you no longer need the JRE installed on your host environment to make use of node-edumate.
This means that the config object structure has changed. The new structure is explained in the README and is illustrated in examples/query.js.
Please note that if you are using node-edumate 4.0.0 and up on OS X, you need to set the DYLD_LIBRARY_PATH using the following command:
export DYLD_LIBRARY_PATH=node_modules/ibm_db/installer/clidriver/lib/icc
