Open Dungeon 0.3.2: Windows launcher fixes
Windows launcher fixes, plus a fresh Mac build.
- Windows zip is now a release asset. Download
Open-Dungeon-0.3.2-Windows.zip, unzip it, and double-clickLaunch-Windows.bat. - Ollama is opt-in on Windows. The launcher only installs, starts, or pulls the default model if you type
Y. If you already use LM Studio, OpenRouter, llama.cpp, a remote Ollama, or another OpenAI-compatible backend, skip it and use Text Model -> Connect a server in the app. - Local image setup is opt-in on Windows. Missing Python no longer blocks text play. Use the image smoke/loop launchers when you want to install and prove the local image worker.
- Already-running app flow.
Launch-Windows.batcan now open, stop, or restart Open Dungeon instead of only acting like first-time setup. - Mac DMG refreshed. Apple Silicon DMG includes the latest app/UI and release docs from
main.
Install:
- Windows: download
Open-Dungeon-0.3.2-Windows.zip, unzip it, then runLaunch-Windows.bat. - macOS Apple Silicon: open the DMG, drag Open Dungeon to Applications, and open it (right-click then Open the first time, since it is unsigned). The bundled local Mac path still expects Ollama.
