DayBee 1.0.0 brings the former Eve Recorder to a native Go/mygo desktop application.
- Rename the application and repository to DayBee, importing existing settings and retaining recordings and model caches.
- Add Whisper Tiny, Base and Small INT8 options alongside Qwen3, FireRed and SenseVoice; new installations default to Whisper Tiny.
- Add the main workspace, complete searchable transcript timelines and optional voiceprint identification.
- Package native macOS Apple Silicon, macOS Intel and Windows x64 installers. Both macOS DMGs are signed and notarized. The Windows installer has no Authenticode certificate signature.
- Keep Ed25519 signature verification mandatory for update archives on all three platforms. Published downloads were checked against
SHA256SUMS.txt.
Upgrading from the Electron version: install this version manually. On macOS, quit and replace the old application. On Windows, quit and uninstall the old application while preserving user data, then install DayBee. Subsequent versions use signed in-app updates.
All three native release CI jobs, package checks and update-signature checks passed. Manual migration acceptance, including eight-hour recording runs on each platform, remains incomplete and is recorded in the migration verification report.
