404 error on autouploads when most compatible option is enabled

Expected behaviour

Autoupload "most compatible" live and not live pictures.

Actual behaviour

Pictures are not autouploaded if "most compatible" option is enabled. This happens both with "Live photo" enabled and disabled.

No errors are generated in nextcloud log.

Steps to reproduce

1. Enable "Most compatible"
2. Enable "Autoupload"
3. Take a picture.
4. Open Nextcloud 3.0.0
5. Wait for transfer
6. ERROR

Reasoning or why should it be changed/implemented?

It seems to be a bug in a cool functionality that I love!

I ran into this same bug/issue and its preventing me from uploading pictures.

I can confirm this issue. The app tries to repeatedly upload an image and the log says:

2021-03-20 22:12:35 Network start upload file: https://.../remote.php/webdav/image.jpg
2021-03-20 22:12:36 Network completed upload file: https://.../remote.php/webdav/image.jpg with error code 404 and error description 404: The requested resource could not be found

I tried to cancel the upload and to reinitiate a full upload of all images but keep running into the same issue.

Hey all just noticed this on running NC 31.0.7
Nc app iOS 7.0.6.1

Nothing changed config wise on my server so not sure what’s up @marinofaggiana any ideas?

I think I’ve figured out the problem. It seems to happen when I have the “subfolders” option turned on. I set it to “year\month,” and the iOS client app created a folder called “07” for the month. But it couldn’t find it as soon as I created a new folder called “07.” The iOS client started uploading the files, so it seems that when the iOS client created the new folder, it couldn’t find the resource.
