my usecase: i want to keep track of band shirts i already own and want to see which design i already own at the merch booth of bands/festivals so a image would be way easier then a description of the design

i would like to link a images or a list of images to a row in the table that are already located in my nextcloud
and also see a preview of the/these images in the row view

maybe even create a config option per table how large the preview images per row should be

This would be a very nice feature. I want to list all my tools in the workshop with description, prices, location etc. A image as first column would it make much easy to identify a tool, when you search for some and you dont know exactly which one it is.

This would be great for a maintenance log, where receipts for parts and labor could be entered.

I found a very good excuse recently to use tables. I use it for ornithology. I would have found it very interesting to add an “image” type among all the data types you can choose when creating the column.

Then, you'd have to choose between internal images (stored in “Files”) or external images (URL).

As for the image display, we'll need to see how it's handled with a choice, a little like in Files: square or normal.

On the other hand, no URL should be displayed, only the image.

This could make it easier to search lines visually (excluding text search via the field at the top of the list) and make the appearance of the lists much more attractive.

Apart from my personal ornithological context (photos of the birds I've listed), in professional use, I think it would be a great help in terms of UX for the following contexts:

• product catalog
• employee photos (HR and other contexts)
• event management (event posters)
• visual resources (visual communication)
• real estate listings
• public works project follow-up
• cultural asset tracking
• etc.

Do you think it could be developed in the relatively near future @juliushaertl ?
