Release list
torrential 0.1.2
The agent skill is 73% smaller.
Agents load a skill's description in every session and its body each time they use it. The skill now keeps only what changes an agent's choices: the rules, the download flow, and how to wait. Everything else comes from the CLI's own next: and hint: lines and from torrential schema.
- The whole skill goes from 1,556 words to 419.
- The description, which loads in every session, goes from about 120 words to 36.
torrential update installs 0.1.2 and refreshes the skill wherever torrential installed it.
torrential 0.1.1
The terminal UI now works in phone-sized terminals.
- Narrow layout. Below 60 columns, the margin of labels folds away. Download groups get a heading row, results keep their name, quality and size, and the details spell out seeds and age.
- Letter keys. On narrow screens the footer names keys that phone keyboards have, such as
h landtab, instead of arrows. - Smaller minimum. The smallest window drops from 60×16 to 30×10.
Run torrential update to get it, or install with:

- One search across many indexes. Lawful sources such as archive.org, Debian and Ubuntu rank first, and results are ranked for your screen, CPU and language.
- Downloads that keep going. A background engine downloads only the files you pick, keeps going after you close the terminal, and checks every piece. It never seeds.
- For people and agents. Run
