Fixed

• BUG-011: server_version in get_llm_backend_info returned stale pip-installed version ("1.2.0") instead of current version from pyproject.toml. (#41)
  • Root cause: importlib.metadata.version() reads the version from the last pip install, not the current source checkout.
  • Fix: pdf_mcp/__init__._get_version() now reads directly from pyproject.toml (single source of truth) with importlib.metadata as fallback for non-editable installs.
  • 2 new tests in TestServerVersionExposure: test_version_matches_pyproject, test_version_from_init_matches_pyproject.

Added

• Passport surname cleanup integration tests: 2 new tests in TestPassportSurnameSingleLetterCleanup to verify MRZ garbled delimiter recovery at the _extract_passport_fields level.
• Release SOP: Added "Step 5: Version consistency check" and "Step 8: pip reinstall" to release-sop skill (lesson learned from BUG-011).
• Full regression: 437 passed, 5 skipped, 0 failures.
