Highlights

🚀 Launch_WebUI.bat UAC Loop Fix & Ampersand Syntax Resolution

  • Eliminated UAC Flashing Loop: Fixed an infinite window reopening loop when Launch_WebUI.bat was run without administrator privileges.
  • Ampersand Command Interpretation: Replaced unescaped ampersand (& $\rightarrow$ and) that broke Windows CMD argument parsing.
  • Multi-Tiered Elevation Defense: Implemented robust privilege detection using fltmc, fsutil, and %SystemRoot%\System32 temp file check, guarded with an -elevated recursion flag.

🛡️ ESP Mount Reuse & Drive Collision Prevention (probe.go)

  • Safe Drive Discovery: MountESP now checks for already mounted ESP partitions on candidate letters (Y:, X:, etc.) and reuses them immediately.
  • Drive Collision Guard: Avoids attempting to mount over existing user disks/volumes.
  • Clean Failure Recovery: Automatically calls UnmountESP if mountvol /S fails or the target letter lacks an \EFI directory.

⚡ Read-Modify-Write (RMW) for PL0 Shadow Registers (link.go)

  • Non-Destructive Bitmasking: Updated LINK_CONFIG_0 and PL_LINK_RATE for TU106 (CMP 40HX) to use Read-Modify-Write (RMW) bitmasking ((old &^ Mask) | Value) instead of constant overwrites.
  • Safe Fallback: Preserves default values if MMIO register read operations fail.

📝 BSOD Crash Resilient Log Synchronization (inst40hx)

  • Crash-Proof Logging: Background startLogSync routine flushes log buffers to disk (f.Sync()) every 100ms so critical debugging logs survive blue screens (BSOD).
  • Clean Goroutine Lifecycle: Controlled through a cancel closure to prevent background goroutine leaks upon application exit.

🔐 Robust Authenticode Signature Verification (unlockriot)

  • .NET X509Certificate2 Validation: Upgraded user-mode display driver signature checking to use direct .NET X509Certificate2.Verify() for reliable verification across diverse Windows installations.

🌐 Multilingual Documentation & Repository Sanitization

  • 1:1 Multilingual Parity: Completely synchronized section hierarchy, numbering, tables, and troubleshooting across Vietnamese (README.md), English (README_EN.md), and Simplified Chinese (README_ZH.md).
  • Repository Hygiene: Untracked internal developer notes, agent specs, and build artifacts from the remote git tree.

Quick Start

  1. Download and extract CMP30HX_Unlock_v2.1.zip.
  2. Double-click Launch_WebUI.bat (or right-click windows-v3.0\release\40HXInstaller.exe -> Run as administrator).
  3. The CMP Control Center web interface will open automatically in your browser at http://127.0.0.1:40100.
  4. Click "Unlock PCIe Gen2 Now" to instantly unlock Gen2 x16 link speed (~6.4 GB/s throughput).
