Release list
ConsensFlow 3.0.0-alpha.72
ConsensFlow 3.0.0-alpha.72: For you holds only what is yours; Show terminal from a task; a member's sessions fold under its row.
- For you shows nothing meant for the chief, however long it waits. While the chief waits for you in its terminal (its own question, or a prompt), For you says so, with Show terminal.
- A task's drawer has Show terminal: the window working on the task, opened again on its conversation if it had closed.
- A member's sessions fold under its row, folded at first: an arrow shows or hides them, and their cards stay on the member's row while folded.
- Delete finished sits beside the Finished heading.
Mac: the DMG, for Apple silicon on macOS 13.5 or later. Windows: the installer, or the portable exe.
Downloads. macOS on Apple silicon: the DMG. It is ad-hoc code-signed and
not notarized, so the first launch may need System Settings → Privacy &
Security → Open Anyway. Windows x64: the installer (-setup.exe), or the
portable exe (-portable.exe), one file you run from anywhere: its first
start unpacks Node and the CLI into
%LOCALAPPDATA%\dev.ngvoicu.consensflow\runtime. Its data stays in your user
folder either way. Neither Windows file is code-signed, so Windows shows its
unknown-publisher warning. The Mac app updates itself through
ConsensFlow → Check for Updates on the Alpha channel.
ConsensFlow 3.0.0-alpha.71
ConsensFlow 3.0.0-alpha.71: a Codex window opened again takes its messages; on Windows a question of many lines arrives whole; a Devin chief's own question shows as waiting for you.
- A Codex member's window opened again on its conversation, for a reopened task or after a restart, takes its messages again. Codex 0.159 and later resume a thread in a way ConsensFlow did not recognise, so the window read as starting and every message to it waited.
- Windows: a window's cf is cf.exe. The cf.cmd before it ran through cmd.exe, which cuts a command at its first line break: a question, brief or result of many lines reached the chief as its first line, while cf said it was sent.
- A Devin chief that opens its own question dialog shows as waiting for you, not as working.
- A member writes every removal (rm, rm -f, rmdir) with its paths in full or as "${R:?}/${b:?}": Claude Code stops any removal a variable names for a person, with a two-minute countdown, and no permission lets it through.

ConsensFlow 3.0.0-alpha.70
ConsensFlow 3.0.0-alpha.70: what you type is never pasted over; Devin's daily quota is read; the chief and the staff write safer shell commands.
From watching poker-lab:
- A message for a window waits while you have typed there and not sent it, and goes in once you send it or erase it; the row, or the chief's card, says "A message waits until you send or erase what you typed here". The Enter ConsensFlow presses again for an unsent paste never sends your text along.
- Devin's "Your daily usage quota has been exhausted" is read as out of quota: the member's tiered work goes back to the board for another member of its tier, or waits for the reset, and its window no longer reads as working for good.
- The chief always quotes a brief's heredoc (<<'BRIEF'): one left bare to fit a timestamp in ran the brief's backticked commands in its shell.
- A member writes rm -rf with a literal path or ${VAR:?}: Claude Code stops an rm -rf on a path a variable makes for a human, with a two-minute countdown, even with every permission granted.

ConsensFlow 3.0.0-alpha.69
ConsensFlow 3.0.0-alpha.69: Devin, Claude and Codex proven live on Windows; a worker's Devin windows hold their state; every harness's out-of-quota read as written; the image designer a Codex agent.
From watching poker-lab:
- A worker with several Devin windows no longer flips between Working and Idle: each Devin window's work is read from its own wire log (it was read from whichever Devin window wrote last), and each reads only its own lines, so the daemon stays small and quick.
- A Devin window opened again on its conversation no longer reads as working for good (Devin replays the last turn into it), so what waits for it is delivered.
- A pause or a tell never sends Escape to a window that is not at work: two Escapes at an idle Devin open its rewind, and a tell's Enter rewound the agent's conversation. Devin's interrupt also ends with one Escape more, which closes a rewind its two may have opened.
- A message up to 16,000 characters reaches its window whole (it was cut at 4,000); measured on Claude and Devin, on the Mac and on Windows.
- A change to the staff no longer pastes a note into the chief's window (a paste is a turn, and the chief started working on it): the chief reads the staff as it is with cf staff.
- A session's row has one Show terminal, which opens a closed window again on its own conversation; Close terminal is gone (Hide, Cancel task and Delete session cover it), and Hide only hides.
- Opus 5.5 at medium and high is complex work, beside Sonnet 5.5 at max.
- What the agent did stays current while its fold is open.
Windows, from Gabriel's report that a reply to a Devin chief was pasted and never sent, and from live sessions on a Windows PC (Devin, Claude and Codex as chief and as staff):
- A long message pasted into Devin is sent: Enter waits until the window has drawn the paste, and a paste the window still shows unsent gets one more Enter, never a second copy.
- Devin on Windows gets each message whole, punctuation included, and what you type into a Devin or Codex window there keeps its marks too.
- A Codex window opens on Windows (it never could).
- A Devin reply that names a file, on Windows or quoting lines anywhere, counts as finished, so its task's result arrives.
- The chief's tell reaches a Devin worker stopped while one of its commands runs.
- A Devin window on Windows is told to name files so its work lands in the project.
- The app's own errors on Windows are written to its log.
Steadier:
- A window that would not stop keeps its task and says so: a reassign, a project Close or a chief switch never goes on as if it had stopped.
- A page reload no longer freezes a window that was printing fast.
- A chief switched in is told cf task get, the command that exists.
- The Node runtime the app ships is checked against the one nodejs.org published.
Quota: Claude's reset times (a time of day in its zone, or a date), Pi's "OpenAI API error (429)" limits, spans like "3hr 4min", OpenRouter's spent credit (402) for Pi and OpenCode, and Devin's own refusal of a prompt are all read as out of quota, with when it comes back.
The image designer is a Codex agent with a designer flag ("Image agent" on Codex's add form, cf agent add --designer); a saved image agent and the ledger move over by themselves.
One name for each: the chief is the chief everywhere (Switch chief, "The chief runs on", the handoff and cf history), and the Node process is the daemon wherever it was the editor, the new core or the core.
The daemon itself: its work split among owners (delivery, scheduling, windows, transcripts, the chief switch); each look reads only what a harness's record gained; each harness's record reader is a module of its own; the roster is agents.json alone.
Tests anyone can run again: npm run live:paste (with --long for longer messages), npm run windows (any command on a Windows machine over SSH), npm run eval:windows (the eval matrix there).

ConsensFlow 3.0.0-alpha.68
ConsensFlow 3.0.0-alpha.68: nothing sent twice after a restart, each task's own transcript, a lighter daemon, releases that wait for every check.
- After a restart, a message its window's harness had already taken is not sent again: ConsensFlow reads the harness's own record of the conversation, not only its copy, before it sends anything back.
- What the agent did, in a task's panel, is that task's own part: a follow-up given to the same window keeps its own, and a reassigned task shows its first window too.
- The daemon no longer looks at every finished session each second: on a project with 400 finished tasks a pass takes 1 ms where it took 20.
- A release now runs every check on the commit it releases, on Mac and Windows, before it publishes.
- Small things gone: a window marker nothing read, cf's help offering a "task review" it does not have, and other code nothing called.
From the whole-app reviews by Astraeus (GPT-6 Astra) and Calliope (Claude Fable 5.1); what was deferred is written down with why.

ConsensFlow 3.0.0-alpha.67
ConsensFlow 3.0.0-alpha.67: a task's story, finished tasks you can delete, the lead in its dock card, Agents and Harnesses as dialogs.
- A task's panel tells its story in order: Request 1, Question, Answer, Result 1, Request 2, each one line with who and when, the newest open. What an agent wrote reads as formatted text: headings, lists, tables, code.
- Finished tasks can be deleted off the board: Delete task in a finished task's panel, or the trash icon under Finished for every one that may go. A deleted task leaves the board and the lead's task list for good; the lead can still read it with cf task get.
- The lead has a row only while a task is on it; its status, model and Switch lead are on its card in the dock.
- A worker's, advisor's or reviewer's card in the dock offers Hide; Close terminal on its row is the one way to stop it.
- A cell of four tasks or more becomes one tile with the count; click it for the list.
- Agents and Harnesses open as dialogs over the board, like Staff.
- A session row's tools are icons with tips. Gone: "Terminal closed", the Transcript button, and "Nothing waits for you on the board".
- Devin: SWE-1.6 and SWE-1.6 Slow are in the catalog, and "Devin configured model" is gone.
- A Codex member's result is its final answer, without the progress notes it wrote while working.
- The lead is told when you change the staff while it runs, and that a task for a tier nobody holds goes to the nearest one.
- Reassigning a task stops its window first, even one you opened. With approval required, only you decide a result you still hold.
- A second start of the app no longer deletes files of the one already running.

ConsensFlow 3.0.0-alpha.66
ConsensFlow 3.0.0-alpha.66: Devin and OpenCode on Windows, cancels the lead hears, terminals that wait to be shown.
- Devin on Windows: a task given to a Devin member no longer stays queued with no result. ConsensFlow now reads Devin's sessions and settings where Devin keeps them on Windows (%APPDATA%\devin).
- OpenCode: its store is found wherever OpenCode keeps it (OPENCODE_DATA, the usual place, and on Windows %LOCALAPPDATA% and %APPDATA%).
- Cancelling a task tells whoever asked for it ("@Human cancelled T-3 (title): @zeus's window was stopped."), interrupts the member's work on it and closes its window; anything it still sends about the task is refused.
- A worker's, advisor's, reviewer's or image designer's terminal stays out of the dock until you choose Show terminal on its row; Hide terminal puts it away while it works on. The lead's terminal is docked as before.
- The lead is told plainly it never has to poll or wait for a result: each one comes to it as a message when it is ready.
- The lead is told one member runs as many tasks at once as it is given, so work that can go in parallel goes out together, even with a single worker, advisor or reviewer.
- The lead is always one of your saved agents, with its model and effort known: New project and Switch lead no longer offer a harness on its own default model.
- The image designer is an image agent's role only, and an image agent is only a designer.
- The board shows each agent's effort beside its model, and a free member's row no longer says "Free: a terminal opens with its next task".

ConsensFlow 3.0.0-alpha.65
ConsensFlow 3.0.0-alpha.65: the Windows portable is one exe, and a sturdier core.
- Windows portable: one file, ConsensFlow_3.0.0-alpha.65_x64-portable.exe, to run from anywhere. Its first start unpacks Node and the CLI into %LOCALAPPDATA%\dev.ngvoicu.consensflow\runtime; later starts reuse them. Your data stays in your user folder.
- The ledger never gives an id twice: a deleted project's ids are never handed to the next one, so nothing still at work for it can touch another project. The first start migrates your ledger; it is one-way, and an older ConsensFlow then refuses it with a plain message.
- Fixed: a rare freeze of the core; a member taken off the staff and added back still marked low on quota; the lead counted as a staff member after Switch lead to a saved agent, which also kept that agent from joining the staff; a session window that failed to open without saying why; files left behind by a launch that failed; folds that did nothing without browser storage; an image designer between tasks reading "No window".
- Devin windows run ConsensFlow's hook only when a session starts, no longer on every turn.
- The app no longer ships a test helper inside it.
- Under the hood: the Rust host, the ledger, the dispatcher and the page are split into modules with one job each; 907 tests, up from 838.

ConsensFlow 3.0.0-alpha.64
ConsensFlow 3.0.0-alpha.64: one shared text for the staff's roles, and a README for people installing it.
- Every agent window starts with exactly the instructions it had before. The worker's, advisor's, reviewer's and image designer's now come from one shared text with each role's own parts, so a rule every member keeps is written once.
- The README says how the first open of the app goes on a Mac and on Windows (it is not signed with an Apple or Microsoft certificate yet), and no longer lists the agents' own commands.
- The repository no longer carries its old plans and release runbook; nothing in the app changes with that.

ConsensFlow 3.0.0-alpha.63
ConsensFlow 3.0.0-alpha.63: one rule for a message that may have been sent, and the app opens at once.
- A message that may have reached an agent is sent again only when the agent's own record never shows it, the same way for Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, Pi and Devin. Pi can no longer get a message twice.
- The window opens at once while ConsensFlow's core starts. A core that never says it is ready is ended after two minutes and started again, and the board says so.
- The Inbox, a task's transcript and a task's details always open, however long they grow. What did not fit is marked, with where to read it whole (cf task get).
- For you reads at the default window size: its notes stack when the board is narrow.
- A window that is still starting shows as starting, not as waiting.
- The update bundle is signed in a step of its own, so the build never sees the signing key.
