First downloadable build of Tokitty. Unzip it anywhere and run it, no Python needed.

  • Windows: tokitty-v0.1.0-windows-x64.zip, run Tokitty.exe. Unsigned, so SmartScreen may ask: More info, then Run anyway.
  • macOS: macos-arm64 for Apple Silicon, macos-x86_64 for Intel. Move Tokitty.app to Applications first. On macOS 15, open it once, then System Settings > Privacy & Security > Open Anyway.
  • Linux: tokitty-v0.1.0-linux-x86_64.tar.gz, run tokitty. The tray icon is X11 only.

Live activity from the downloaded app needs Claude Code 2.1.139 or newer. A Claude home inside WSL keeps using WSL's python3 for its hook. When you update, launch the new copy once before deleting the old folder. The README's Install section has the details.

Built and checked by the release workflow on every target, from the extracted archive (run 36926396088). Nobody has tried it on a real Mac yet.
