• depend on kimun_core 0.4.0 with an exact (=) version requirement. 0.23.1 and
  earlier used a caret requirement, which let them resolve forward onto a newer
  core; that is why the 0.22.1 tarball stopped building once the breaking core
  0.2.32 was published. No functional change to the app.
