Fixed

  • Tap page turns now sweep the correct way, whatever your tap-zone layout. The sweep direction comes from the actual page turn instead of the side of the screen you tapped, so one-handed or remapped tap zones (say, a big left zone set to go forward) no longer wipe backward.
  • The first page turn after waking the device no longer stutters. That turn (and the first turn after opening a book or jumping to a chapter) now does Kobo's normal full refresh, the same as it always did elsewhere, instead of a mistimed sweep that could visibly stall on a just-woken screen.

Removed

  • The nds_animate_first_turn setting. The "animate the first turn after opening a book" behaviour it added in v0.3 is what stuttered after a wake, so that turn is back to Kobo's flash.

Install: copy KoboRoot.tgz to the Kobo's hidden .kobo folder, eject, and reboot. Settings are in KOBOeReader/.adds/nickel-dissolve/config; see the README.

Uninstall: delete KOBOeReader/.adds/nickel-dissolve/uninstall and reboot.
