SongCoach 1.0.0 — first public release 🥁

Isolate the drums, loop the fill, lock in the groove. SongCoach captures any
audio playing on your Mac and uses AI source separation (Demucs) to split it
into drums, the song without drums, and the full song — then hands
you a looping multi-stem practice player.

What you can do

  • Capture two ways — paste a YouTube link (plays in-app, auto-stops) or
    record system audio from anything (Spotify, Apple Music, a file).
  • Three synced waveforms — solo any stem, drag to set an A–B loop, and
    slow down 0.5×–1× with pitch preserved.
  • Retry a failed separation without re-recording.
  • Everything runs locally — your recordings never leave your Mac.

Install

macOS 13+ · Apple Silicon (M-series). Signed & notarized — no right-click
"Open" workaround.

  1. Download SongCoach.dmg below.
  2. Open it and drag SongCoach into Applications.
  3. Launch it; grant Screen & System Audio Recording when asked, then
    relaunch.
