Feature request: `tests_output` and `logs` added to .gitignore

I imagine most users would prefer this to be the default behaviour. It could also be a question during the setup process. If a user runs tests without committing the installation process, then they will end up with a lot of bloat in their git status that they probably don't want to commit.
