FNV coverage in this build
This combines the native FNV Save330 load path with the merged world-state slices through PR #12:
- exact native save master-order preflight
- faction reactions
- loaded world-reference transforms and facing
- loaded actor enabled/disabled state
- loaded ordinary-object enabled/disabled state
Release workflow: https://github.com/nikamigaming-create/nikami-openmw-lab/actions/runs/30007062397
Experimental boundary
This is not full retail Fallout: New Vegas parity. Known required work includes unloaded-reference persistence, non-player life/package/inventory state, remaining player actor-value/perk/reputation/crime state, quest/dialogue/effect scripts, broad object-script command semantics, dynamic forms, complete combat/VATS parity, and additional animation/body-language behavior.
Use legally owned game data. The companion BWorlds README provides the exact Flat, VR, menu, and native-save launch commands and constructs a save-ordered isolated content profile.
OpenMW FNV runtime fix — Windows Flat + VR
Windows prerelease for the native Fallout: New Vegas runtime work.
Assets:
- OpenMW-Flat-0.50.0-win64.exe — standard desktop build
- OpenMW-VR-0.50.0-win64.exe — OpenXR VR build
Included:
- Native FNV .fos launch/preflight and exact master-order validation
- FalloutNV.esm runtime bootstrap, player/inventory/equipment import, dialogue/AI/animation/VATS fixes merged through 30b1454
- Scripted BWorlds launch flow documented in nikami-worlds
Use legally owned Fallout: New Vegas data. This is a prerelease: native save/runtime coverage is still being expanded and unresolved state is reported fail-closed rather than silently invented.
OpenMW FNV quest-state runtime — Windows Flat + VR
Verified Windows prerelease from main commit b3b1f5a.
Includes:
- native Fallout: New Vegas Save 330 launch/load path
- exact saved transform, camera, sky/weather, globals, inventory/hotkeys/ammo, and numeric quest runtime state implemented through this commit
- Windows Flat and VR installers built from the same main revision
CI evidence:
- Windows Flat: success
- Windows VR: success
- release workflow: https://github.com/nikamigaming-create/nikami-openmw-lab/actions/runs/29989856509
This remains a prerelease. It is not being represented as complete retail FNV parity; world change forms, reference-valued quest variables, several player runtime domains, and other explicit fail-closed blockers remain under active implementation.

Fallout: New Vegas Flat and VR Windows preview
Fallout: New Vegas ammo + clouds fix (Flat and VR)
Experimental Fallout: New Vegas Flat + VR preview built from main commit 9db62b88f67a079407a175fd8c841fcbd171305e.
Fixes in this build:
- Native
.fosinventory ammo lists are materialized as authored AMMO records. Save 331 now restores 100 rounds of standard 5.56mm ammo and the Varmint Rifle can consume them. - Legacy console
additem, removeitem, andequipaccept serialized FNV IDs such asFormId:0x100434f. - FNV automatically selects the retail four-layer
meshes/sky/clouds.nif; weather cloud textures are visible again. - Retail FNV NIF/KF compatibility is enabled automatically.
- README documents exact save-master ordering and direct
.foslaunch with--load-savegame.
Use the Flat installer for desktop play and the VR installer for OpenXR. Fallout data is not included. This remains an experimental compatibility preview; keep backups of saves you care about.
Validated locally with Save 331 at Goodsprings and by green Ubuntu, Flat Windows, and VR Windows CI.
Fallout: New Vegas experimental Windows preview
Experimental OpenMW-VR Windows build with the integrated Fallout: New Vegas parity work. You must own Fallout: New Vegas and supply your own game data. See the README on main for setup and load-order instructions. This preview is incomplete and intended for testing.
