What's new in 1.5.6.2

  • Upgraded to .NET 4.8 — no more .NET 3.5 requirement; the installer downloads .NET 4.8 automatically if needed
  • Fixed options dialog crash — Explorer no longer crashes when opening the options window
  • Fixed empty options window — all settings panels now display correctly
  • Bars off by default — the tab bar and button bar are no longer auto-enabled on first launch; enable them manually via Explorer's toolbar settings
  • Installer restarts Explorer correctly — the 'Restart Explorer' checkbox on the finish screen now works reliably

Installation

Run \QTTabBar Setup.exe. It will install .NET 4.8 if not already present, then install QTTabBar.

To enable the toolbars after install: open File Explorer, go to View → Options, or right-click the toolbar area and check QTTabBar and QT ButtonBar.
