Skim v1.0.4
Skim v1.0.4 — "Two inboxes walk into a titlebar" 📬📬
Turns out people have more than one email address. Shocking, we know. So Skim now holds several mailboxes at once — without turning into the giant multi-account control panel we've been quietly avoiding for four versions.
✨ New
- Multiple accounts, one calm app. Connect as many mailboxes as you like. A slim switcher appears in the titlebar only when you actually have more than one — with a little unread hint per inbox so you know where the noise is coming from. 🎚️
- Ctrl + 1…9 jumps straight to the Nth mailbox. Muscle memory, meet inbox. ⌨️
- Add another mailbox from Settings using the same email-first, autoconfigures-itself connect flow you met during onboarding — now extracted into one reusable form so both places behave identically. ♻️
- Toasts now say which mailbox got the mail (but only when it's ambiguous — one account, no clutter). 🔔
🧠 Smarter
- Click anything, land in the right mailbox. Toast clicks, cold-start opens, AI citations, and search hits all switch to the account that owns the message before opening it. No more staring at "why is this empty." 🎯
- Search and compose stay in the mailbox you're looking at. The active account scopes your search and starts your drafts — no accidental "sent from the wrong address" heartbreak. 💌
- Background mailboxes mind their own business — only the active account drives the sync indicator, so a chatty side inbox can't hijack your status. And your active mailbox is remembered across restarts. 💾
🐛 Fixed / guarded
- No more duplicate accounts. Try to connect a mailbox that's already here and Skim politely declines — before writing any secret, so your existing account stays untouched. 🚫👯
🧹 Housekeeping
- ~500 lines of connect logic lifted out of onboarding into a tidy shared
ConnectForm. Less code, two homes, one behavior. - Five new strings translated across all 11 languages, because "Switch account" shouldn't only work in English. 🌍
- The usual
cargo fmt/ clippy / svelte-check pass, green as ever. ✅
