llm-shield-proxy 1.6.9 corrects the supported Python versions. No proxy code changed.

Packaging

Python 3.11 or newer

Before: the package said 3.9+. On 3.9, installation built google-re2 from source and the proxy failed to import; on 3.10, the proxy started and answered 400 Malformed JSON payload to every request. Neither version had ever run the test suite.
After: requires-python = ">=3.11", and a test holds the claim to the versions CI runs (3.11 and 3.12; 3.13 works and is checked on each release). pip install on 3.9 or 3.10 now says the version is not supported instead of installing something that does not work.

pii-leak-benchmark and chunk-invariance keep Python 3.9+; both are tested on 3.9 to 3.13.
