So, you want to host a conference.
That’s great! This field guide is designed to take you through the process of hosting an event in your city. We’re not gonna lie. Running an event is hard work. And it’s worth it.
Resist the urge to skip through this guide. Read every word. You’ll be glad you did.
This guide is designed to help you setup and run your event with minimal fuss. However, we’re not perfect, and neither is this guide. If you stumble across something that we haven’t covered, we’re here to lend a hand.
It’s time to put your city’s Web Afternoon on the map. You may have already been thinking about some details of your event. The main things to cover are: Dates, Speakers, Sponsors, Venue, Catering, Promotion.
