- Podcast stats with OP3. Add
analytics_prefix = "https://op3.dev/e/"under[podcast]inblog.tomland every episode in your feeds goes through OP3, the free, open-source podcast stats service, in the form OP3 documents (with your show's guid, so OP3 attributes downloads sooner). There's nothing to sign up for: after a few days your public stats page is athttps://op3.dev/show/<your podcast guid>. Uploads, the deploy's size check and the player on your episode pages keep using your own address.folderblog podcastshows whether stats are on. Off by default, so existing feeds don't change. Any other prefix service works too (https://, ending in/). The older, undocumentedop3 = truenow means the same thing. (#39)
Please read before updating
analytics_prefixneeds 0.2.10 or newer. Older versions refuse ablog.tomlthat has it, so update every machine that builds the blog first.op3 = trueusers: enclosure URLs gain,pg=<guid>(https://op3.dev/e,pg=…/…). Podcast apps keep episodes by guid, so nothing is downloaded twice.
