Release list
Hyprfall v0.1.4
Install
With autonomix-cli: autonomix-cli add https://github.com/ninepointlabs/hyprfall
Arch / Omarchy: sudo pacman -U hyprfall-0.1.4-1-any.pkg.tar.zst
Debian 13+: sudo apt install -t trixie-backports ./hyprfall_0.1.4-1_all.deb (Quickshell comes from trixie-backports on Debian 13; Debian 14, sid and Ubuntu 26.10+ have it in the main archive)
Fedora and any other Linux (AppImage, x86_64, glibc 2.35+): chmod +x hyprfall-0.1.4-x86_64.AppImage && ./hyprfall-0.1.4-x86_64.AppImage (Quickshell and Qt are inside; add --install-desktop-entry to put it in your app menu, or let Gear Lever or AppImageLauncher manage it)
Hyprfall needs Quickshell 0.3 or newer (the AppImage brings its own). Then launch Hyprfall from your app launcher, or run hyprfall. Each package was installed on its distro and the game run headless from it (hyprfall --selftest), and the AppImage was run on a clean Ubuntu 22.04 under X11 and Wayland, before this release was published.
What's Changed
- Add Nine Point Labs social icons to site footer by @ninepointlabs in #6
- Hyprfall 0.1.4: needs Quickshell 0.3 or newer; Fedora gets the AppImage by @ninepointlabs in #7
Full Changelog: v0.1.3...v0.1.4
Hyprfall v0.1.2
What's fixed
- About now shows the real version and license in installed copies. In 0.1.1, the About screen (F1) showed "Version dev" and only a one-line license summary, because Quickshell blocks reading files outside the game's own folder. It now reads
VERSIONandLICENSEfrom the install folder.hyprfall --aboutwas already correct.

What's new
- About screen. Press F1 on the title screen, the pause card, game over or mid-run; opening it mid-run pauses the game.
- It shows the version, Made by Nine Point Labs, the created date, the MIT license (R shows the full text), the credits, and the Quickshell and Qt versions.
- Support is at help@ninepointlabs.com: E opens a prefilled email, C copies the address and V copies the version details.
- Esc goes back.
hyprfall --aboutprints the same details in a terminal.- Privacy: no accounts, no telemetry, and the game never connects to the internet. High scores and the mute setting are saved in
~/.local/state/hyprfall/save.json. - The packages now include the license file, so About can show it.
- The copyright holder is now spelled "Nine Point Labs".
