omaforge v0.2.7

omaforge 0.2.7 is ready for World of Warcraft: Forever.

New: the Forever release client. Battle.net installs Forever in _forever_ (product wowf). omaforge now lists it as Forever even before you've started the game, when it has no Interface/AddOns folder yet. If Battle.net hasn't filled in a version, it shows not installed yet. The first addon you install creates Interface/AddOns. -c forever picks the release client; the beta is still -c classic_beta.

Leftover beta folders. A _classic_beta_ folder whose version Battle.net no longer lists now shows as Forever Beta instead of an unknown game.

Install

Arch / Omarchy: sudo pacman -U omaforge-0.2.7-1-any.pkg.tar.zst, then omaforge setup omarchy.

Debian 13+ / Ubuntu 26.04+: sudo apt install ./omaforge_0.2.7-1_all.deb

Fedora: sudo dnf install ./omaforge-0.2.7-1.noarch.rpm

Any other Linux (AppImage): chmod +x omaforge-0.2.7-x86_64.AppImage && ./omaforge-0.2.7-x86_64.AppImage. --install-desktop-entry adds it to your app menu; Gear Lever and AppImageLauncher can also take it in and keep it updated.
