First public alpha of Hyper Agentic Engineering: shared Markdown memory, focused engineering practices and reliable handoffs for Claude Code, Codex and Copilot. Engineering is the default; general project work is optional.

Set up with your agent

Paste the README setup prompt into an agent with local file and terminal access. The agent follows the pinned instructions, inspects your current setup, applies the authorized plan and checks save/recall. You do not need to perform the shell steps yourself. Requires Python 3.11+.

Included

  • Reversible setup, exact file-change checks and recovery journals; existing instructions, hooks, models and memory are preserved.
  • Local approved saves and bounded recall, project/client scopes, cutoff checkpoints and portable handoffs.
  • Generalized engineering workflows and selective installed-skill routing. No third-party skill bodies are bundled.
  • Windows, macOS and Linux core; standalone runtime and separate host plugin archives.
  • SHA-256 checksums and explicit packaging file lists. Local memory is the default; Jev, capture hooks and backups are opt-in.

Verified and limited

71 tests passed in each of six native Windows/macOS/Linux Python 3.11/3.12 CI jobs, together with package builds, nested artifact scans and 1,000-note local recall benchmarks. Evidence.

This is an evaluation alpha. Authenticated host-session dispatch, native trust, Cowork/WSL acceptance, independent adoption and paid Jev quality remain unverified. No universal speed or total-token-saving guarantee is made. Read the security boundaries.

hae.pyz is the cross-platform local runtime. Plugin ZIPs contain their own runtime and skills; Cowork is evaluation-only. Check downloads against SHA256SUMS. Checksums are not an independent publisher signature. Nothing is published to a package registry or marketplace. Original code: MIT.
