Joy Harness v0.5.0 for Apple Silicon Macs running macOS 13.0 or later.

What's New

  • Made controller pointer motion display-synchronized and resilient to main-thread stalls, display changes, and short scheduling delays.
  • Hardened local I/O, Codex process recovery, lifecycle cleanup, status freshness, controller mapping migrations, and RP2040 transport buffering.
  • Fixed shortcut modifier keys remaining active after key release and affecting later controller-generated clicks.
  • Added shared CI and release validation, protocol documentation, and substantially broader regression coverage.

Install

  1. Download Joy-Harness-v0.5.0-macOS-arm64.dmg and its .sha256 file.
  2. Open the DMG and drag Joy Harness.app to Applications.
  3. Use the checksum file to verify the download when needed.

This build is signed with Developer ID Application and notarized by Apple.

The DMG contains the desktop app. Install from source with task install when Codex hooks, login startup, notify bridge, and the local CLI are also required.
