v0.30.0
Version 0.30.0 shows how much node capacity pods request, lets you edit decoded Secret values in your editor, and keeps followed logs running through rollouts and restarts.
New features
- The nodes view shows the CPU and memory that pods request and limit as a percentage of node capacity.
%CPU/Rand%MEM/Rare default columns, and%CPU/Land%MEM/Lshow in wide mode. This helps you see why a pod does not schedule on a node that is not busy. - Press
ein the decoded Secret view to edit the text values in$EDITOR. Sofka patches only the keys that you change, after you confirm. The newsecret-editguardrail applies to this action.
Fixes
- Followed logs now reconnect after a container restart, a dropped connection, or a laptop wake. Workload and service logs also follow the new pods that a rollout creates.
- The command palette refreshes namespace completions each time it opens. New namespaces now appear in
:<kind> <ns>completion without a restart.
